Sichuan Earthquake Donation Summary 2008

Right after the 5.12 Suchuan earthquack, THAAC called for. Due to the tax exemption status as a registered 501(3)(c) non-profit organization, THAAC made those donation go further and received donation match from employers. As the Nov. 14th, 2008, the total amount donation received is $13,225.95. The first round of $5000 donation was wired to Red Cross Society of China(RCSC). And the last one was donated in person by vice president, Hua Guan, to the headquarter of RCSC. All donation list has been updated on www.tsinghua-chicago.org

Being moved by the generosity and enthusiasm, the special donation committee has been working hard to make sure every donation get processed timely and correctly. They volunteer their time and effort, the only fee incurred is the wire transfer fee $45 by the bank in the entire process, all the rest of the fund has been fully transferred to RCSC.
